THE AWESOME GOD I SERVE

As I arise to face each day, the first thing I do is pray. Even
though situations in my life scream defeat, I know I'm more than a
conqueror through Christ. His word says" I can can do all things
through Christ who strengthens me."
When I grow spiritually in him, he awakens my dull senses, so I
become more conscious of the hurting people around me. As I pick up
on their pain he then gives me the wisdom to pray for them. The Lord
cares for the broken hearted and the hurting people. The word of God
clearly states," I am my brother's keeper." A true follower of
Christ practices living that way. Jesus said, Come unto me all ye
that are weary and heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
December 25th is the day people celebrate the birth of Christ. I
celebrate him daily, because he's done so much for me. I love my
Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and I revere him as God. My prayer is
that others will come to know him and give their lives to him. Then,
and only then will this world be a better place in which to live.
I want everyone to know how awesome God is. When I was sick with
blood and bone cancer, the power of God healed me. The day I
suffered a heart attack at the age of 36, God spoke to me and healed
me. About 4 months later, after being rushed to the hospital
suffering heart failure and sick with pneumonia, again God was
faithful. He raised me up. I was in a wheel chair for almost 2
years, and the doctors said I would never walk again. But the mighty
power of God, miraculously healed me. Today I'm walking,
driving, traveling and doing pretty much what I want to do.
Thank God for Jesus who is the awesome God I serve.
