You’re the Shepherd of my heart, Lord,

my Valentine Divine,

you’re the lover of my soul, Lord,

on whom I do recline.

In everything I do, Lord, in everything I see,

I pray, my first consideration, Lord, of You,

Will always be.

To live my life to please you, Lord,

to my cry, Thine ear incline,

you’re the focus of my being, Lord,

my Valentine Divine.

In you, Lord, I put my trust, of which there’s no repine,

no complaint, no murmuring, I place my hand in Thine.

My hope is in You, Lord, on me, cause Thy face to shine,

give ear, my Sweet Companion,
