A Product of His Grace

I represent action that others don't dare take
I represent a cause that others cannot shake

The hue of my skin is acceptable to most

My speech is quiet, yet firm…
But others think I should boast

I serve a Man who's kinder
Than any man I've known

He sees to it that I'm fed and watered,
So my cares and sorrows are not overgrown

My mind is full of wonder as I'm led from place to place,
I'm grateful for this journey because He's abiding in my space

I've always been shown my differences,
In everything I do

Now as I look at my daughter,
She's experiencing the same thing too

I represent what's peculiar,
Something this world cannot fully embrace

But, I represent what His mercy can do,
I'm a product of His grace

Humility is recognizing God's work in you. Be sure of your identity in Him and acknowledge his grace in shaping and molding your abilities. Realize that it is Christ that makes you worthy, not worthless.

"But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace to me was not without effect. No, I worked harder than all of them - yet not I, but the grace of God that was with me." ~ I Corinthians 15:10 ~
