Decisions
By

Decisions, Decisions, all day long,

Sometimes I don't know what to do;

Will they be right, or will they be wrong,

They can be frustrating and I haven't a clue.

Sometimes I dream of having a maid,

To do all my work and wait on me;

But then the dream begins to fade,

When I realize it just isn't meant to be.

I want to get out and go somewhere,

To feel like a bird and fly away;

Yet I know that would not be fair,

So I brace myself and face the day.

It's the same things day after day,

Which without a doubt can be a bore;

It wouldn't be so bad if I got paid,

But with God's help I'll do the chores.

In this life I am being put to the test,

Others depend on me, so I must do my part;

Only with God's help will I do my very best,

Get me going Lord, and give me a fresh start.

"Our help is in the Name of the
Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth." Ps. 124:8
