The Lord has heard my plea; the Lord will answer my prayer.
Psalm 6:9

The Christian life is a supernatural life. This is a quote from a theologian and minister, Paul Washer. So, it is logical to assume that everything God does for us, is supernatural. We should understand that and it will make it easier to believe. Supernatural, meaning far above the natural. Jesus said, "When you pray, pray believing and it will come to pass." It doesn't matter where we pray, or when. God does not work on an eight hour schedule. He does not close shop and go home at 5:00 PM and He does not specify where we should pray. He does say to go into your prayer closet. Most of us do not have a specific closet in which to seek God. But wherever, whenever, we reach out to Him, He is there, waiting to listen and fulfill our needs. The only requirement, besides being His follower, is that we believe.

Prayer

Heavenly Father, teach us to pray believing. Help us to believe that what we pray for is already done. Jesus did everything there was to do on the cross. He died to take all our sins, sicknesses and diseases. He said "It is finished" when He died. Not that His life was finished, but that what He came to earth to do was finished. So, we have to believe that all we ask for is already done, if it is according to His will. Thank You Lord for answering our prayer and helping us to believe. Amen.
