To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted.
Ecclesiastes 3:1-2

After a long hard winter, we yearn for the Spring. The closer it gets the more we anticipate the budding and blooming of the flowers and trees, the beautiful green grass, and the smell of the rain with a warm summer breeze. We have no ability to make the spring arrive before its time.  We have to wait for the season to change. There are seasons in our lives and as anxious as we are for change, we have to wait for it. There is a time to sow, a time to wait, and a time to reap. We wait with anticipation, knowing that God is faithful and in His time, according to His purpose, we will see the seeds that have been planted in the fall, bloom into the beautiful flowers of spring. He does make all things beautiful in His time.

Prayer

Lord I will be cheerfully content as I wait for the season in my life to change. I will not complain but will anticipate the spring and the joys of summer. Thank you for your faithfulness. I will trust and wait on you in every season of my life. Amen.
