Being
confident of this, that he who began a good work in
you will carry it on to completion until the day of
Christ Jesus. Philippians 1:6
God
is creating beauty within each of us. Although it may
not be as noticeable as we would like, He has begun a
work in us, and He will certainly finish that work.
Each one individually created and perfected. God isn’t
in the business of mass-producing, each of us receive
unique and carefully detailed attention. We need to
stop trying to pattern ourselves after each other and
allow God to create in us the work of art He has
envisioned. Remember the next time you feel you don’t
quite measure up to others, that you are a masterpiece
of God in the making.
Prayer
Lord,
I place myself in Your capable hands, trusting that
You are creating a work of art within my life, that
will glorify You. You are the potter, mold me and make
me according to Your perfect will. Forgive me for
comparing myself to others. I thank You for the unique
and perfect work You are creating, and I know that one
day I will stand before You, rejoicing at the
completed work of Your hands. I give You all the
praise, honor, and glory, forever, and ever, Amen.
