Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost. Romans 15:13

God gives us joy. Joy is a celebration of our souls. It is a song in our hearts that words cannot begin to describe. When we focus on the imperfect world around us, instead of the perfection of our God, we deprive ourselves of that joy. It is easy these days, to find ourselves eating a steady diet of doom and gloom, and trying to digest the worries of the world. If we will walk in God’s love and His word, we will begin to discover more of His character, His righteousness, and the fullness of the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. A transformation takes place, when our focus shifts off of this world and ourselves, and to the things of God. It causes a refreshing flood over our souls, rising from deep within and immerging as pure joy. A joy that can’t be found anywhere else, and a joy that sustains us through all situations, a perfect joy. Today we can put aside all the cares of this world, and allow the joyful song of the Lord to be released from within our hearts, regardless of what the day holds.

Prayer

Flood our souls with Your joy today and bring our spirits to life again, healing our emotions and causing a song to rise up from deep within our souls. We anticipate with a joyful expectation, the day when we will stand in Your presence, experiencing the fullness of Your glory face to face! We give You all our cares and worries of the day, and rejoice in Your goodness, and love. You alone are worthy and we give You all the praise and honor. Amen
