Speak
Lord; Your servant is listening.
1 Samuel 3-9
As
we plan our day, we need to realize that our plans can be
subject to change by God. Listening for His instructions
is vital, in our service to Him. There’s no special
place we need to be to hear Him speak, but we do need to
be listening with our hearts. It may be a gentle nudge or
even a rebuke. He will whisper, “Go this way”. What
great comfort, to know that the God of the universe is
with us and leading us, as we go through our day. God can
change our every day routines into something dynamic, if
we will listen, receive His instructions and act on them.
Prayer
We
desire to serve you with every moment of our lives. We are
listening today for the sound of Your voice. Lead us and
guide us through even the smallest details of our lives.
Speak to our hearts today we are listening. Amen.
