Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is, his good, pleasing and perfect will.
Romans 12:2

As the return of Christ approaches, now, more than ever, we need to begin to loosen our grip on this world, and strip ourselves before God. Letting go of this flesh and its desires, and allowing the Holy Spirit to purify our hearts, by supernaturally imparting the character and righteousness of Christ, within us. Not one of us is righteous enough to stand before a Holy God. We can continue to limp through this life, holding tightly to our self-imposed crutches, or we can surrender ourselves to God, and allow Him to transform all that is weak and rotten within us, making us strong, and expelling the breath of the sweet-smelling aroma of His righteousness.

Prayer

Forgive us for glorifying this world and ourselves. We have been seeking to fulfill the desires of this flesh, rather than seeking to fulfill Your desires. Loosen our grip and fill us with Your Spirit. We offer ourselves to You. Transform our hearts and minds, according to Your perfect will. In Jesus name we ask. Amen.
