I would have lost heart,
unless I had believed That I would see the goodness of the Lord In
the land of the living. Psalm 27:13
If we were to accept the view
of our future from the perspective of the world, it would appear
hopeless and fearful. Darkness represents evil, and although it
looms about us, it is unable to consume us. We have been liberated
from the darkness, and live in the saving light of Jesus Christ. In
His presence void of fear lies our hope. A living hope that brings
us together with one purpose, to seek His face, expecting the power
of His presence to work through our lives, accomplishing His perfect
will. Our hope is not in what we see but in Whom we believe.
Prayer
We stand together today in
agreement, hoping in You, with confident expectation, that we will
see Your glory revealed and Your perfect will accomplished. We seek
Your face and desire to walk in the light of Your truth. Fill us to
overflowing. In Jesus name we ask and believe. Amen.
