As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Now remain in my love. If you obey my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have obeyed my Father's commands and remain in his love. I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete.  John 15:9-11

Have you ever experienced moments of joy that words cannot begin to express? A joy that is supernatural and divine.  We can experience that kind of joy in our lives much more often than we do. It is accessible to us all the time. Most of the time we experience only a small amount of the joy that God desires for us to have. We receive a taste and think we are satisfied. That taste is simply not enough. We need His joy to occupy every part of our being. Joy that breathes fresh life into us, wakes us up, fills us, and will sustain us. It is in His presence where we will find joy in the best and worst of circumstance. He speaks to our hearts, and He beckons us to come to Him, and out of convenience we say "next time".  When He calls us it's time to come, we can't afford to waste another second. If we will obey His commands, and walk in His love we will receive the strength of His joy rushing through our hearts, and overflowing into our lives.  Jesus had that joy as a result of His relationship with the Father. He desires to impart that same joy in us. Joy that will satisfy and joy that will make us complete.

Prayer

We seek your approval and long for your presence, impart your joy into our hearts, let it overflow in any circumstance and in every area of our life. Whatever today holds we are assured that you are with us.  We hear you calling, and will not ignore you, but respond and receive, the joy that gives us strength, sustains us, renews us, refreshes us and gives us hope. We rejoice in you regardless of circumstance, you are our source, our strength and our Joy! Amen.
