God Today
Devotions So is my word that goes out
from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish
what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it. We can receive insights from God and His word in the midst of our daily experiences. He desires to speak to us throughout our day. He is always speaking, we are just not always receptive to His message. The more we listen, the more we will hear. At one time or another we have heard messages that speak directly to our hearts and apply to our exact situation. It is always amazing how He speaks a word and it applies to a variety of situations and changes many hearts. God is not limited and we cannot place limitations on Him. He chooses what He wants to accomplish through His word and how it is delivered. He is everywhere, and always speaking. Everything is under His control. He is a loving Father that desires to show His love to us throughout our day and speak wisdom and truth into every situation we face daily. Prayer Our hearts are at peace
Lord; we know you are in control of all things. We come into your
presence with quiet souls, listening for your direction. Speak to our
hearts, your comfort, and your love. Give us new insight and wisdom.
Teach us your ways. Allow your word to accomplish what your purpose in
