Devotions Let
us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith. There are many things we hold tightly, refusing to let go. We don’t ask for the situations we find ourselves in many times, when our dreams appear shattered and the future looks grim. Through the tears of our broken hearts, it is difficult to see, that at these times, God is working through, even the smallest details of our situation. What will sustain us, is our faith and trust, in His ability to turn our situation completely around. He is the creator of all things, and desires to create a new thing in us. When the storm we are facing passes, and it will pass, we will see the results of His new creation. We have a choice to wallow in our misery, or to let go of it, and place it in God’s hand, trusting Him for total and complete transformation. We will not lose, because our God cannot fail. Prayer We choose today, to trust that you are transforming us in the midst of each situation that we face. Help us to look beyond the circumstance that surrounds us, and to let go of our life, as we place it in your hands, knowing that you cannot fail, but will bring to pass your perfect will in each of us. In Jesus name we ask. Amen.
