Behold, the Lord's hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear.
Isaiah 59:1

Can you remember riding the merry-go-round? Being so dizzy you couldn't keep your balance or stand? There was usually someone near by, who would  help you to regain your balance. Sometimes our lives mimic a merry-go-round ride, we can discover that all that we have been searching for, and pursuing is actually leading us in circles. It can also cause us to lose our balance, stumble, and even fall.  When we have finally come to realize how dissatisfied we are with the ride, we can abandon it, but we still need help regaining our balance.  Looking up, we will find the hand of God reaching down to pick us up. He holds us with the right hand of His righteousness, (Isaiah 41:10) He places our feet back on the straight path, where we belong, and where we will find satisfaction and purpose.

Prayer

Thank you Lord for always being there to pick me up when I stumble and fall. With your loving hands you embrace and lift me up, placing my feet on sure ground, back on course, and pursuing the purpose and path you have designed for me.  Thank you for your endless, unconditional love, and mercy. Amen.
