But if you suffer for doing good and you endure it, this is commendable before God.
1 Peter 2:19-20

Suffering does not bring glory to God. How we react, and maintain our attitude, during times of suffering does. When we suffer injustice, our reactions must remain pleasing to God. The circumstance does not matter, the fruit of the Spirit needs to be evident in our actions. Throughout the Bible, there are many who suffered with patience, and endured until the end. They received their promise and blessings followed. Jesus is our example, He suffered without complaint, and always trusting, that no matter how things appeared, He had a greater mission and purpose, and that was to do the will of the Father. Our reactions to sorrow, disappointments, tragedy, betrayal, must reflect the attitudes and actions of Jesus Christ. Our actions, speak more clearly of who we are, and the difference Christ has made in our lives, than many words.

Prayer

Lord, Give us patience and strength to endure, during times of suffering, walking in your example and bearing the fruit of the Spirit, in every action and reaction. Regardless of the circumstance, we desire that our lives will bring glory to you. Amen.
