Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort.
2 Corinthians 1:3

When our hearts are broken it seems they will never mend. The pain runs deep. Our eyes are heavy and tear filled, we can’t think, we can’t sleep; we don’t even know words to pray. In the midst of our devastation a voice whispers “I Love You”. Out of the darkness a light begins to shimmer. Our souls begin to awake to the reality of a love that exceeds any we have ever known. A hope begins to rise within our hearts. Morning always comes, the storm always passes, and the sun will shine again. Pain and heartache come into our lives from different sources and for many different reasons but Jesus desires to replace the brokenness with His perfect love. Love that remains, love that doesn’t walk out the door, love that changes us, love that removes the agony and torment, love that brings joy beyond words, love that created the universe yet choose to dwell within the heart of man.

Prayer

We come into your presence with thankful hearts, praising you for all that you have done. You see each tear, you hear the cries, and their pain and brokenness is constantly before you. We ask you today to wrap your arms of love around each broken heart, and crushed spirit. We come before you praising your name. You are our comfort, our joy and our hope that tomorrow will be better, and joy will once again return to our lives. You are true love. Amen.
