God Today Devotions
You shall walk in all the ways which the Lord
your God has commanded you, that you may live and that it may be well
with you, and that you may prolong your days in the land which you shall
possess. As difficult as it is to surrender our lives totally to God, when we have done so, we become much more liberated than we were before. There is most certainly a freedom that results from giving ourselves totally to His service, along with the wonderful peace and joy that words can't explain. We want to be masters of our own destiny, but the truth is, we will more than likely become slaves to it instead. We desperately try to hold on to our plans, all the while ignoring God's perfect plan. We can't surrender to God, a portion and expect to reap the full crop. We all have goals for our lives and dreams we desire to see come true. God understands those desires and has placed them within us. The only way we will see them completed, is by following where He leads and walking the path He has laid out. Prayer Lord Jesus you know our dreams and our aspirations, you have placed them in us. You have a master plan for our lives. Today we totally surrender to you and ask that you bring them to completion in our lives. Amen.
