Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
Hebrews 11:1

Having faith is more than wishing for what we don't see. It reassures us today that there is hope for tomorrow. It allows us to see that the spiritual world is much more a reality than the world we can touch, see, and feel. All the things we see are temporal and they will pass. Faith enables us to understand and believe that our invisible God created the universe and formed it at His command and that death is not our end but our beginning. It is faith that brings us through the most traumatic circumstances, and gives us hope for a world we have yet to see. It makes the impossible possible. It enables us to hold on to a hand that is trustworthy, and stable. Faith assures us that the God we cannot see physically is indeed reality.

Prayer

You alone are our God and we trust in you, and all that we do not see but know to be real. We trust in your word, and in your character.  Our hope for today, tomorrow, and eternity is in you. You are our life and our reality. Amen.
