God Today Devotions
As a child belonging to God I desire to be the best that He has intended for me to be. I am learning that life is not a competition with others. I desire to do, be and give my best; not someone else's best. My relationship with God needs to be my first priority ; then when I am doing what He desires for my life everything else seems to fall into the proper place. Jesus loves me. The me He created me to be. I don't need to try to be someone else. Sometimes I forget that I am created special just the way God intended. I may look in the mirror and see many imperfections but that is not what God sees. He sees the potential in our lives and desires to make us complete. God makes no mistakes. We can work very hard concealing the real us just to gain acceptance. Each of us are uniquely created and specially designed for God's pleasure and purpose. Jesus loves us this we know. Prayer Lord I praise Your Holy name. You are worthy of our praise. Bring out the best of you in me today. Let my heart overflow with an abundance of your love. Give me the opportunity to share the love and joy you have given. I am content Lord to be whatever you desire. Help me to be just that today. Amen.
