Do not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast army. For the battle is not yours, but God's.
2 Chronicles 20: 15

We all experience problems and confrontations, some more serious than others. We will never get through the battles we face on our own. Learning to let go and stop trying to fight them on our own is evidence of our trust in God. He always has a perfect plan. The problem is we at times feel we are more capable of solving them our way. Taking matters into our own hands and doing things our own way is saying in essence that we think God is not capable. Although we would never come out and say it, that is exactly what are actions are saying. When confronted with a problem we need to immediately seek His direction and wisdom. Our time is better spent seeking God and spending time in His presence rather than plotting and planning our next move. God doesn't lose and if we will entrust Him with our battles we can be assured that He will win.

Prayer

We thank you for your faithfulness to us. You plans are always perfect and we trust that no matter how intense the battle you are capable of seeing us through. Go before us and make a way. When we don't see or understand we still trust. Amen.
