God Today Devotions
But now God has set the members, each one of them, in
the body just as He pleased. Jesus is certainly not biased. He loves all and sees them through the eyes of perfect love. He offers eternal life to anyone who believes on Him. As representatives of Jesus Christ we should do no less. The world is overflowing with different people. God created it that way, it is man who has created the separation and the boundaries. Many times we are a lot more like the Pharisees than we would like to believe, with a tendency to ignore and even shun those who are different from us in one way or another. The body of Christ is made up of different parts and each one with its place and importance. Although we have heard and repeated the words many times, too often our actions don't match our words. Imagine what kind of a body it would be if all the parts were cloned from one part. It would be ridiculous of course. We can't create people to be like us, but instead must allow the Holy Spirit to instruct them and create them to fulfill their position within the body. Although we may be quite different we are one through Christ Jesus. Prayer Lord you have created all things and created them perfectly for your pleasure. Forgive us and help us to accept our differences and teach us to love and to be one. Amen.
