But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.
Hebrews 11:6

I am sure I am not alone as I have often wondered why some people receive healing and yet others seem to either live their lives with their afflictions or lose them to it. There are many who will point a finger at those who are afflicted to find an answer, believing that there is something amiss in their lives or their relationship with God that is preventing them from being healed.  Our answers are found in trusting in God's infinite wisdom.  If we truly believe that He is God and all powerful, all wise, and all loving then there is no choice but to trust. He is true to His word. It is difficult when we get ideas in our minds about how things should work out in our lives or when we witness a miracle in another's life and don't seem to receive one ourselves. It certainly does not mean that miracles don't happen or that God does not care. Doctors are a blessing and we have need of them but they are limited in their knowledge and capabilities. God has no such limitations.  It comes down to a matter of trust. Trusting Him when we don't see, or understand. Believing that our miracle is around the corner and that God is in control of the circumstances we face. Continuing to hope and to trust when the evidence is not quite so evident. Trusting God no matter the outcome is the ultimate profession of our faith.

Prayer

We believe that you are God and that you are all wise, all powerful, and all loving. There is nothing good that you will withhold from your children. We trust you when we don't see a way, or understand why. We depend upon your strength and your wisdom. Each day you fill our lives with your goodness. You have given us healing and hope. Strengthen our faith according to your word and help us to trust. Amen.
