God Today Devotions
This Book of the Law shall not
depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that
you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then
you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success. Not only do we seek God's will but we must walk in His will. This requires a conscience choice on our part. There are many times we are aware of the direction God wants us to go but for one reason or the other we choose not to walk that way. God's word reshapes our way of thinking so that we are capable of making the choice to act on His will. Simply reading God's word and knowing the location of scripture is useless until we are willing to apply that word to our lives. The word of God is our blueprint for life simply reading the blueprints will not build the building, it requires a willingness to pick up the tools and work. We are not merely actors in a play of life, we are participants that are being constantly created in God's image. We have been given the ability to make decisions, to use our imaginations and ideas by God. His resources are infinite and His word is full of endless treasure. He has called each of us to be ourselves, what He has created us to be in Him. We are equipped with all the resources of heaven to remain prepared, rooted and unshakable in the pursuit of the dreams He has placed in our hearts. Are we willing? Prayer You are the creator of hopes
and dreams, it is through you that we are able to attain them. Continue
to create us in your image and lead us in the way you want us to go,
Your love has captured our hearts we are stepping out in the direction
You are leading. You word sets us free to be all you have created us to
be. We receive your word today Lord, apply it to our hearts and our
lives. Amen
