The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?
Psalm 27:1

"What if?" Those words haunt the hearts and minds of many of us. We can't afford to adhere to those infamous words whispered over and over by the enemy. Once we begin listening, the list of "what ifs?" can become endless. There are a million things that could happen and are possible but never do. The only results we reap from worrying is fear. Fear is not of God, it promotes distrust and causes us to act and react irrationally. We have been given a spirit of power and of love and of a sound mind through Christ Jesus. 2 Timothy 1:7.  We can either choose to trust Him believing in His word or give into the fear and become entangled in the chains of "what if?"

Prayer

We will not be afraid. If the entire world were to collapse tomorrow, under your shadow we will be safe and secure. Give us strength and courage to stand on Your word and believe Your promises. Give us wisdom to see through the lies of the enemy.  We trust in You and rest in Your peace. There is nothing that can separate us from your love, and in Your perfect love there is no fear.  Thank you! Amen.
