Everyone who drinks this
water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks the water I give him
will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give him will become in him
a spring of water welling up to eternal life. Jesus revealed the truth of who He was to the Samaritan woman . He caused her to come face to face with the life she was living. There are many things in our own lives that we attempt to conceal. While they may go unnoticed by others God is aware and has the ability to dig deep into our hearts and bring to the surface the things we would rather not face. He did not confront this woman with condemnation or judgment but revealed to her that He could meet all of her needs, so much so that she would not ever need again. We can continue to try to satisfy our thirst through many avenues only to find that we are still empty and thirsty, or we can as the Samaritan woman did that day, drink from the eternal well and embrace the truth of Jesus Christ allowing Him to bring to the surface all that we have safely tucked away from view. He is not standing by with a huge stick ready to get us, but instead He opens our hearts removes the debris and replaces it with living water. Water that brings fullness to our lives and satisfies our thirst. Prayer Reveal Your truth to my
heart. Expose all the things that are hid deep within.
Create in me a new heart and fill it with your living water. Only
You are able to quench my thirst. Amen. To subscribe to the GodToday
