For
the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any
two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and
spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the
thoughts and intents of the heart.

Through words, we communicate our thoughts and feelings. God uses
His word to communicate His thoughts to us. The Bible is filled with
words, but it is more than those printed words that speak to our
hearts. It is the voice of the living God, speaking through each
word and paragraph to the heart of His creation. The Bible remains
one of the most popular books of all time; not because very talented
writers articulated and composed a great book; but because it
contains great truth. Inspired truth, that continues to speak today
as strongly as when it was originally written. It is more than
simply words, but Gods transforming power inside each word that
delivers love, understanding, joy, peace, and comfort for our souls.
Prayer
Speak to my soul; whisper Your truth to my heart. It is Your counsel
that I seek. Let all the sounds around me die out so that I can
clearly hear Your voice. My soul quietly waits for Your life giving
word. Amen.
