And we know that all things work
together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called
according to his purpose.
Romans 8:28
Even though life
has pain, there is joy and contentment to be found in the midst of it.
Joy in the grace which sees us through, and contentment in the midst of
the situation, as we place our trust in our Heavenly Father. He is the
giver of the grace, that helps us to grow through each heartache and
sorrow. His power is perfected in our weakness. If we make a choice to
submit to His will and seek Him, we will come to realize that there is
nothing that happens in our lives, which is outside of His control or not
part of His purpose. We may blow it, and we may fail, but He is always
there to pick us up and restore us. There is no situation, or problem in
our lives that Jesus Christ is incapable of handling. If we are in His
will, we can certainly trust without hesitation, He is there also and
working His purpose, in His time. It may not be fun, it may not be
comfortable, but we will come through it victorious and changed if we
will trust Him.
Prayer
Lord, apart from You, we can do nothing. Allow Your power to be made
evident through our weakness. We submit to You and trust that each step
we take, You will be there, and that each obstacle in this life we face,
You are in control of. We believe that You will work through each
situation and bring good things into our lives as a result. We thank you
and rejoice in Your goodness, even in the midst of adversity; You are
our God; You are in Control and we Trust in You, to do above and beyond
what we can imagine! Amen.
