Packed away in the corners of our hearts and minds there lies hurts and wounds we have tucked safely away and hid from view. We plaster on a smile and continue each day but at it's end we come face to face with those secret wounds that no one else sees. God wants to heal our bodies and our souls. Sometimes we are more concerned about our physical health and neglect our spiritual health. The only cure for our ailing souls is Jesus; only He has the ability to heal our wounds. His hand is able to reach into the dark places and bring all the hurt and pain into His light. He replaces the pain and stench from the wounds with the beautiful aroma of His love and peace. The floodgates are opened and it allows the healing waters to flow through our hearts and our minds as it immerses our souls in His goodness. There is no pain is too great or buried so deep that it can detour Him from reaching into the dark and broken areas of our lives to remove and release us from the chains that have wrapped themselves around our hearts and souls.

I bow down before you and pour out my heart to you; only You know my pain and how deeply the wounds hurt; open my heart and heal my wounds let your healing waters rush through my soul. I need you Jesus, only you can make me whole. Replace my hurt and pain with Your perfect love. Amen.
