Let us
continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise the fruit of our lips
that confess his name.
Hebrews 13:15
Praise cannot change our circumstances but certainly can change us in
the midst of them. It is a very important part of our faith. When
we praise Him continually in all circumstances we are able to win over
every attack. I can't imagine our enemy wanting to hang around and
listen to us praising our God instead of complaining and dwelling on our
woes. So praise Him when things appear uncertain, and remember that even
though we may feel imprisoned by our troubles we are free through
Christ. Praise Him in the morning as you begin your day, and in
the evening, and even when you do not feel like praising Him at all;
Praise Him!!! It will make a difference in your day. Praise Him from
your heart. Bring to Him your sacrifice of praise and lay it at the
alter of Jesus your high priest. There is no doubt that He is more
than worthy of our praise. He is the same Jesus in the Old Testament as
He is today. He is merciful, powerful, and loving. He still fills those
that are hungry, encourages and strengthens the weak. He still welcomes
those who desire to repent. He teaches His children to love
righteousness and turn from iniquity. There is nothing good in us
that is not the work of God; which provides plenty of motivation for us
to praise His name! The mountain in our lives may still remain but our
praise surpasses the mountain and creates a beautiful song that makes
its way to the heart of God, who is in the process of removing whatever
obstacle is blocking our way. Praise is simply and expression of
love from us to our God and a way of letting Him know what He truly
means to our lives.
Prayer
I praise you
today Lord!!! You are my all!! All that I have and all that I am is
because of you. I thank you for your mercy, your love, your sacrifice
for my sins, and making me your child. Words cannot express my
overwhelming love for You!! I give you all my love Lord and all my
praise. You are more than worthy.
Amen.
