A man who has friends must himself be friendly, But there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.
Proverbs 18:24

It is nearly impossible to have an intimate conversation with someone in a crowded room  with all the noise and distractions.  When we want to talk with God we don't need to shout across a room but simply step into His presence.  In His presence everything else seems to vanish.  The door has been opened for us to be with Him and to share our  concerns, requests, and our needs and to receive from Him instruction, wisdom, and love.  It is a time for us to mingle with God. Talk about hanging out with someone prominent.  We have been afforded the opportunity to hang out with the Almighty Creator of the Universe.  He has extended an open invitation and is always available and  waiting for us to respond.  In His presence we will find hope, peace, joy, acceptance and His unconditional perfect love. What are we waiting for?

Prayer

Thank you Father for your love and your acceptance and the open invitation to come into your presence and share my thoughts my dreams my concerns, my sorrows, and my joys. You have been faithful to me always.  I thank you for giving me strength, wisdom, joy, peace, hope, love, life, and the opportunity to hang out with you.  Thanks for being my friend.

Amen.
